Your First Visit
Please read the following information carefully before your appointment
We are located at the end of Summerland Gardens, which is just off the Muswell Hill High street between the Opticians and Lloyds bank.
At the bottom of the hill take the left turn after Brocklehurst Carpet and Flooring Shop, It is a short narrow driveway and our building is at the very end. Ring the buzzer for Lambert Performance.
Pay and display parking is available in the Marks and Spencer car park on Summerland Gardens as well as the surrounding streets. Please note there are
no longer meters in place and that the 'Pay by Phone' app is now in use. Please leave plenty of time to get parked and maybe download the app before arriving
By public transport, the nearest tube is Highgate Station on the northern line. From outside the tube either on Archway Road or Muswell Hill Road take the 134 towards North Finchley, or the 43 towards Friern Barnet. It is approximately an 8 minute bus ride. Get off at the stop just after Marks and Spencers and cross the road to Summerland Gardens.
What to Bring
Please bring suitable clothing that allows the injured and surrounding areas to be viewed, such as shorts and a t-shirt. We do need to be able to see the area in order to treat it.
Please also bring any referral letters, reports from tests or scans and if claiming on Bupa, your Membership and Authorisation number.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment to give you time to fill out the forms
Payment and charges
Payment can be made by cash, card or cheque after each appointment.
Charges for clinic visits are as follows
New patient initial consultation 40 minutes £80
Follow up treatments up to 40 minutes £70
Home visits are £105 for 40 minutes within the Muswell Hill area. Prices are on request for home visits outside the Muswell Hill area.
Please note if you are claiming for a home visit through your insurance you should check with your insurance company first.
If you are claiming via private health insurance you will be required to pay on the day and a receipt will be printed for you to claim back from your insurance company. This does not apply to BUPA patients for whom we will make the claim, subject to having valid policy and authorisation codes. Any shortfall in insurance payout will be transferred to the patient for payment.
We are registered with all major UK health insurance companies except AXA-PPP and its subsidiaries. Please check the requirements of your policy before you first appointment, including obtaining any authorisation required, and, if requested by your insurance company, seeing your GP first.
Failure to keep your schedule appointments at Absolute Physio hinders our ability to provide the best service to our patients. We ask that you show us and other patients' consideration by giving a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend. This allows us to offer that appointment to another patient. Please call us on 07811171356 and leave a message if we are not available.
Failure to give 24 hours’ notice will result in the full charge for the session that is missed, which must be settled in full before your next appointment. If you are claiming through a private medical insurer this will not be able to be claimed.
